If you follow the discipline of dry firing so many shots per day or per week, I found an iPhone app that counts for you triggered by the sound of the hammer drop. I got sick of forgetting to hit my counter app between shots and losing count. The app is called "Exercise Sound Counter" and its free on the Apple app store. It allows you to raise and lower the level of sound required to trigger the count and also lets you set an interval before it resets so your recocking the gun or cycling the bolt sound doesn't get counted mistakenly. Also it changes from blue for ready to red for disable interval which is nice so you can see that its ready out of the corner of your eye. Works pretty good.
