Speedtech Skymaster windmeter?

I've got a bang load of Cabela's points and I'm in the market for a wind meter. Cabela's doesn't sell Kestrels. Are these any good at all? Really just want a wind meter but the other features are nice and I can see using them.

Yeah, I saw the online reviews they seem hit or miss. I was hoping someone here had first hand experience with one.
