Do these lock up your rifle in place pretty good?
I was just comparing this Pig Saddle to my Hog Saddle today, testing at 255 yards. I did not see much difference in the two. I decided to keep the hog saddle as it is a bit lighter weight.
I guess it depends what use you are inquiring about as far as "locking it in place pretty good"? If for hunting, then yes. I compared the two on two different tripods, and the tripod without a center column (Feisol 3372) performed much better than the aluminum tripod with a center column, but the pig and the hog performed about the same on each tripod.
