I'm looking to buy a spotter or 15x56 or something similar with a good mil reticle. I've been looking at gpo tac 15-45x60 and the Athlon cronus 7-42x60 spotters. Not looking at swaro money but this mid grade is where I want to be. As far as binos I see Bushnell has some but not sure on glass.

Any other options? Or Info on these would be nice.

I don't like the Leopold spotter with reticle.

I have the Athlon Cronus spotter and really like the reticle. Works well when spotting and making calls for adjustments. It also has some really helpful ranging functions in the reticle as well. Glass is Athlon Cornus quality and the focus adjustments are better on the 2nd gen version. The adjustment was the weak point on the 1st gen. I have had both 1st and 2nd. Was thinking I wanted the Bushnells 15X56 binos with reticle and may still end up with some at some point. Briefly looked thru some at a recent match and thought the reticle was very light and not very usable if spotting and making calls is important
Really depends on what your going to be using the glass for most of the time.

On the phone you mentioned a fluid head for tripod which one would you recommend for the bino and spotter?
