Spotting Scopes

What spotting scope do you need to see hits on steel at 1000 yards or more. I don't want to spend more than a 1000 or so and would prefer less but I want something that would work. Thanks

Take a look at the Bushnell Legend T-Series spotting scope. I've read the glass is pretty good for the price, about $500. It has a nice reticle.

My Vortex Razor 30-60 works great at 30x for 1k. So well, in fact, that I got the fixed 30 with the mil reticle and use that unless I need to look at paper targets at 300+.
