First most of my shooting has been with Aimpoints, EOTECHs, and ACOGs and I wanted to make a SPR type rifle. I had a Leupold 1.5-5x scope on my SPR but it is on the girlfirends Duty Gun right now. I want to move that to one of my LWRCis when I ever get it back. I am looking at either a fixed scope since I do not like to play around with settings and magnification is a bitch.

I am looking at the 6X or 10X fixed scopes. Bushnell or Super Sniper but would look at at an adjustable if the scope is under $300 without a mount.

I have used a CompM4 with a 3X magnifier in Iraq and it worked out well I just need to learn how to use a mildot scope before I get something else to use.

Being around cities and a lot of trees on the East coast the longest shot I would take is 300m and that is with my Gemtech G5 attached to my rifle.

I am NOT a sniper or a DM but I have trained Iraqis on how to do the DM thing with a ACOG I just see myself with a Aimpoint with a 3X magnifier on deployments and I have to admit I do not want to think about Magnification if I have to use it out at the Family Ranch due to Coyotes or two legged varmints or on a deployment.

Last question I could get back the Leupold sometime in teh future and just buy another Aimpoint since I have 6 of them on M4 type rifles but then I lose a tool in the box perhaps.

SPR is a Centruian Arms upper, Larue Lower with Geissle SSA trigger with a EMOD Stock with a GGG bipod and TD pistol grip and Bravo Company Large charging handle. Ammo is 62 grain to 77 grain depending on what I want to use at that time.
