Rifle Scopes Springfield Armory 4 x 14 x 56 3rd Generation

I loaded 168's to the recommended velocity and used the reticle to see how close it was. At 700 yards using the "7" mark the reticle the bullet was only about 2 inches off. Pretty good and darn close. The internal bubble is also nice. If the price is good it's pretty accurately calibrated for the 308 and 168 bullet. I've seen some of the Gen 3's on EBay and the prices were very high (800-1000). Guess they think they are collector scopes now. If the price was around $450.00 or so, it's a good scope.

I shot a FN Patrol mounted with one of these recently. Shot well but I'm not sure I like the way the scope is set up. IE I prefer to DIAL.
I am going to try and duplicate the FGMM 168 with Lapua Scenar 167 and see what happens.
