Anyone got one, got pics?

Thinking of looking into one of these...what are your takes, I'm hearing good about it.

All I ever wanted was a basic 1911, looks to be the one!

simple, reliable...

I did find with mine that the POA is off compared to the sites,
but I have only tried one type of ammo through it....

I understand you can adjust the sites tho, pretty basic system from what I"m hearing...

if you meant you CANT adjust the sights you are correct. the GI is set up for point shooting, the sites are pretty non existent.

how it is now, i had it sent in for the mil spec sights to be installed (i mainly point shoot but still wanted to have some sights):

The GI model is a very good and reliable 1911. I have two of them and I cant complain about. Shoots well too. Never had any problems or malfunctions with it as I shoot 230gr FMJ. If yo do get one you will not be disappointed.

Not exactly an SA WWII M1911A1, but very close. Has Retro sight for old eyeballs.
