Re: SPS Tactical Pic Thread
Factory plus basic stuff:
Current state:
<ul style="list-style-type: disc">[*]Tacops bolt knob installed with a dremel, Ryobi drill and a steady hand...[*]EGW 0 MOA Base, SWFA SS Low rings, Bushnell Banner 6-24x40 Mildot. [*]HS Precision 5R takeoff from runewulf (100% good to go) off the PX. Bedded and textured with Marine Tex.[/list]
These were shot off a pack, prone. 100 yards.
The first group, using GA Arms 168 BTHP. This was when it was still wearing the Hogue furniture and unbedded. Didn't write down conditions, but if memory serves, it was a quartering or zero-value wind.
The second group, using Black Hills Match 168 BTHP. This is bedded in the HS Precision. According to what I wrote, there was a 5 to 8 mph full value. I was rezeroing on this target as well.
The learning process continues...I love throwing that last shot. At least I'm somewhat consistent.
I just took these pictures, and would prefer to have a set of calipers to measure, but all I could find was a dime.
