Spuhr 4004 recommendations

Hello,I’m getting together a 6.5 rem700 in a whiskey 3 chassis with enclosed forend. I’m going to run a Burris xtr3. With a 20 moa rail. Would you recommend a spuhr 4004– 1.89 ring height I believe— I want to be able to clear the front rail on the forend. Can anyone chime in Or suggest another spuhr model?

That's way tall. Which XTR3? The 50 or 56mm? A 1.1=1.26" area would work. This is a 1.34" MDT mount and a 56mm Burris.

Then the 1.26" area should be fine. Any reason why you want to spend that much for a Spuhr? A lot of less expensive mounts that work just as well. Here's a couple.

Found it for 360 new the mdt is 365. The mpa is looking better and better though.
