Rifle Scopes Spuhr Caps

Just got a Spuhr 34mm 4616 QDP. Caps are labeled differently - A40 and A41. The instructions don’t mention a difference. Is there a difference?

Sort of. The rear cap has two line engraved to assist with seeing the elevation and windage settings, the front cap has screw holes for adding accessories like a top rail for a rangefinder or a side mount for an RDS. I use a paint stick to fill in the lines on the rear cap for better visibility.

Thanks! It doesn't seem like the lines would be very helpful unless you highlight them as you did.
