Rifle Scopes Spuhr FDE mount color vs. AI Elite Sand Color

I know you guys drag your $10,000+ rifles behind your trucks on bad roads, so appearance/finish/color is of fleeting importance,but dare I ask if anyone has any idea on how a FDE Spuhr mount would look with an AX in the new AI Elite Sand? My new rifle expected to ship from England in the next few weeks. Given the $$ for the mount, since there is a choice , thought it was worth investigating. I'm hoping someone has an AI in the new color who can compare the two colors for me. Thanks!

I don't have mine yet, but the FDE is a fair bit of a different color than the Elite Sand.
I think Elite Sand looks closer to wet beach sand and the FDE is usually a more brownish color (except HK which does "FDE" as a slight orange tint).
