Rifle Scopes Spuhr Mount suggestions please

I just purchased a McMillan TAC-50 and am looking for suggestions from y’all on what Spuhr Mount to put on it. What MOA base would y’all suggest? 0? 20? 30? I was thinking the 4602 Spuhr Mount or possibly the 4003B. Thanks in advance for y’all advice!

Depends what your plans are for the rifle and also what optic you are planning on running.

They come with 30 MOA built into the rail.

NF ATACR 7-35x56....planning on shooting anywhere from 500yds to a couple miles. And I’m gonna switch the rail out to a MIRS night vision rail

I don’t think anyone having 40 MOA ever wished they had 30 or 20. But I’ve heard plenty of people wish they had MORE cant, so take that for what it’s worth

That’s why I was gonna go with a 30MOA base

For a 100 yard zero, no more than a 20 MOA mount on top of the 30 MOA built-in (50 MOA total). Anything outside of that it's going to be a stupid cheek-weld. That being said, I would just run like a 10 MOA mount (40 MOA total including the factory rail) and when you wanted to really reach out, pop on a Charlie TARAC.
