Spuhr question for sako trg

Question: What is the screw for on the underside of the TRG spuhr mount? And does it have to be adjusted?

Is the 45in/lbs enough to keep the spuhr held in place on the 17mm sako dovetail?

The screw on the underside is the recoil stop. It needs to be adjusted and pushed forward in the recesses on the top of the action when you mount it. I dont have a torque wrench but never had any issue with the mount. It stays where you mount it and it is very repetable.
