I recently bought a TT 5x25x56 it came with a spuhr mount but the mount is a 20 moa.
however my action has a built in 20 moa also so my question is would that work or would the 40 moa be to much.
Rifle is a 6gt
26” barrel
Terminus Zeus action

It’ll work. This is exactly what I run but a 6BRA/ 6.5cm/ 308. You’ll have 99% of your usable elevation in the scope.

I thought so also however the scope has 28 mils (96moa) of adjustment
I didn’t know if I was over thinking it or if it would really be a problem
So you have approx 14 MILS up and down from optical center. +/- 1 either way likely once zeroed. The 40 MOA will add 11.6 MILS so you shouldn’t be at the very edge and TT scope so no biggie. I’d keep it and then see what you think.
