Does anyone know if Spuhr changed the screws they used or at least the finish? I recently installed a 1 piece mount and noticed the screws were more of a silver/gray finish instead of black, but didn’t think much about it. Today i removed the ring caps to adjust eye relief a touch and noticed the screws are down to bare metal on the back side. Just seems like no protection from rust. All my other Spuhr screws seem to be anodized or nitrided. Here is a picture of them.
