I don't see the "bag of chips" in it, but it's a nice rifle. You could have got the same exact thing that didn't say Knights Armament on it for half the price.......but if it's everything you have ever wanted in a rifle, than it's "bag of chips" awesome. Their newer stuff has some cool features unique to Knights....ambi bolt release, propietary BCG, swivel stud sockets in the receiver, etc.

Can't answer those questions but as far as accuracy someone who used to work at KAC told me these guns were easily 1 MOA, with .7 to .8 was about average using Federal .223 Gold Medal ammo. Looks like the target is affirms.

Welcome to the forum. I have the same rifle. It took me about six months to find one. Seems each month I find someone looking for one of these. Heck I might even buy a second one in the future. Great rifle and pretty accurate for me so far.

I am one of those who have been searching GB and google daily. Trey Knight spoke on ST about doing another limited run or maybe even permanently adding a modernized SR-15 match to their commercial arsenal. I am staying tuned to this outcome and will carry on with my search.
