Ran my first ever ladder test today with my Ruger SR762. I've enjoyed looking at other OCW test results so I thought I'd share mine, and hopefully get some good feedback on how to proceed.

I'm using once fired Nosler .308win brass
Hodgdon BL-C2 powder
Nosler 165gr Accubond bullet - I plan on hunting with this load...

I started at 45gr and worked up to 48gr in .5gr increments.
48gr didn't show any signs of over-pressure.

The test was done at 100 yds.
In my mind (scary place) all of the shots were good. No flinches. BUT the one shot (it was number 2) at 47.5gr has me worried. Statistically it is a flyer I think.

I've annotated the attached picture with charge weight in red, and average POI for each group of three shots as a green X.

I'm thinking that 47.5 is where my OCW is, but I would appreciate very much some other opinions.

I know that the .5gr increment is a bit coarse, would you recommend a finer test with less of an overall range, or just start working on bullet seating depth at 47.5

Let me know what you think.

46-48 grains in 0.3 grain increments now.

That's the range that looks good to me.

Good Luck,
