I'm just wondering if anyone knows what recoil the super sniper 1-4x24 Tactical 30mm can withstand a stout load from a 45-70? The other models seem to specifically say they can withstand up to a 50 BMG recoil but these dont say anything concerning the recoil it can withstand. I'd just hate to put it on there and bust it up.

Why not pick up the phone and check with SWFA directly?
My guess if if youvbuy it from them and put it on a shoulder mounted modern firearm and it breaks, they wiu take care of you...that's just how I've experienced how SWFA rolls....
