Rifle Scopes SS 20x44

I have had this scope for several months. I have the hardest time seeing through it. Eye relief has to be perfect or it just black, not even blurry. I am just wondering is something maybe wrong with scope or just the way a fixed 20x is. Thanks in advance!

Pretty much the way the scope is. If you divide the obj. bell by the mag. you get the exit pupil...2mm is not a lot, and 20x is a bunch a mag...

Thanks for the info. I obviously choose the wrong glass. I wanted to buy a scope that I would not have to upgrade magnification later. Way more mag than I needed. May try to trade or sell I guess.

Practice makes perfect. I've been using my SS 20x for 3 years now, and once you develop a repeatable and solid cheek-weld, getting edge-to-edge clarity from the SS 20x will come naturally and won't be an issue.
