Rifle Scopes SS 3-9x42 on AR15?

Anyone running this scope on your AR? Considering this scope since I was given a coupon for it.

I currently have a Burris PEPR 30mm mount and will probably use it. Gun will be used for hunting and some tactical shooting. I have had this scope before on a bolt gun so I am familiar with the scope, just not on the AR platform.

Any comments/advice will be appreciated.

I have one here that I have on an M1A, I've thrown it on the AR, and plan to shoot it next week. So far it's a good scope for an AR if you're wanting a 3-9x, I personally prefer a 1-4 on my AR15's.

The scope is impressive for the price tag.

I have one on my SPRish AR15. Great scope. No complaints.

Good choice for a SPR/DMR type rife regardless of caliber. I've got two of them on a LMT and M1A NM. I also like the SWFA 1-4 HD and will be putting one on my AR15A4. I've used both scopes out to 800 yards. Up close, (inside 300 yards) the 1-4 HD has advantages. Beyond 600 yards the SS3-9X42 has advantages.
