Rifle Scopes SS 5-20 HD scope caps and sun shade question.

Hello,

I just purchased a SS 5-20 HD scope from another member here and want to order the sun shade and Butler Creek caps from SWFA. Sun shade is easy, but they don't seem to indicate what caps go with the scope, particularly with the sun shade installed.

Anyone know so I can place my order?

You know, I ordered my BC caps with my SS 5-20. For some reason, the objective lens cap doesn't fit well. It is so tight, that only one side of the cap will latch while the other is not latched. It is actually not a huge deal, but I am just curious if others have this same issue or if it is justy me. If history has any say in the matter, it is just me

I have the same issue so I stopped using it. I use the one on the eye side of the scope, and a rubber bikini cover on the objective. I cut the bikini and zip-tied it to my scope.

Someday, some intelligent fellow will begin to make higher quality caps that can adjust in size.

It's too bad scope makers don't make scopes threaded for standard size photographic filters.
