Have any of you Savage shooters replaced the Acutrigger with the SSS.

i had a sss on my savage /stevens and it was great . i would say that trigger was better than anything short of a jewell

I like mine. Pretty easy install and very crisp. For sure worth looking into if you can't get the one you have to your liking. Good price too.

I replaced a Timney with a SSS competition in a 10FP pre-accutrigger. Like it much better if that helps. I have never shot a rifle with the Accu-trigger, but have handled a friends. I thought it felt much crisper than my SSS.

The only thing I don't like about the Acu. is the paddle you depress. I actually thought of removing it from the assembly.
I was just curious if the SSS was quite a bit better.

Steve with the SSG3000 had a SSS on his old model 10 and I really liked it.
