St. Mark's Powder

I bought some powder from a guy that works there a while back, he told me they make ball powders for everybody, at that time at least they only made ball powder, if that helps. Looking at their site I see Winchester Hodgdon & Ramshot labels

General Dynamics - Saint Marks is one of the three smokeless propellant manufacturers in North America. IMR stick powder is made in Canada, and the other plant (owned and run by ATK) is in Virginia.

Saint Marks produces a huge chunk of North America's ball and (assumption) rolled/milled ball powders (for rifle, pistol, and shotguns, as well as big military stuff).

The label on the side of your jug is not necessarily the manufacturer of the powder.

After Remington and Winchester lost the very lucrative contract to produce ammunition at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant both companies fell on hard times. Winchester sold off its powder manufacturing plant in St. Mark Florida to General Dynamics weapons division and its brass manufacturing plants were sold off also. The same applies to Remington/DuPont and General Dynamics now also owns the old IMR series of powders.

Below is from the Hodgdons website and their MSDS list of their powders that they "sell" and do not make.

Old thread, but...
General Dynamics, St. Marks manufactures:

ALL Winchester-branded powders of all types,
All Hodgdon-branded sphericals,
All Alliant-branded PowerPro series powders,
Some Accurate-branded sphericals (2700 = Win760/H414, for example. Look for "Made in USA" on Accurate-branded spherical powders and you'll know it's a St. Marks powder)

Hodgy's Hybrid 100V as well, IIRC.
