anybody have any thoughts on this model? I would like to use it to start shooting some three gun comps and some coyote hunting. I have a Savage model 10 precison carbine in .223 that I take out to 500 right now, would the 3G still be good for steel ringing at that distance? If it will encompass all my needs I might let go of the model 10pc and just shoot the AR. What do yall think, never owned an AR before

Thanks,
Raider

Re: Stag Arms Model 3G?

I'd say it's a pretty good bargain ...compare it to the colt 3 gun...they are virtually identical and the Stag is $400-$500 cheaper. Stag makes good stuff... I've owned 3 at one point or another.

I currently have two Stags, in M4 configuration.

One left handed, one right handed....mine is the lefty, the right hand is for the kids.

Planning on getting a third to bring the wife into the fold.

No qualms here.......
