Had never seen a sign like that but thought it appropriate to share.
Given the area of the cities this sign was in, it's a wonder there's not bullet holes in it. Black lives matter signs in most yards in the area.

True story . I was driving back from my sister's place and came acroos 9ne 9f those signs . Caution steel plates ahead . As I l8ve and breath my first thought was " fuckin right I'm carrying my .45 " . I was th8nking Steel Challenge and was giddy up until that voice i8n my head said hey dumbass it's road work .
You do realize that sign was paid for in tax dollars. So, in reality you own it and probably should have taken possession of it to prevent vandalism.
