Rifle Scopes Steel QD Rings on an Aluminum Base. Yes or No?

I just got my Vortex PST scope for my Savage Precision Carbine, and put some Warne QD Steel rings on it because I may share the scope with another rifle.
Am I still ok to use and aluminum base with steel rings if I am going to be putting the scope on and off a lot?

I was thinking about an EGW aluminum base but it yall think that would be a problom then I will reconsider. If that's the case what base would you suggest for my Savage?

I'm on a budget, but I will do what I have to do to make sure it is right.

if i had a preference...it would be aluminum rings and a steel base,,, however you should be just fine with what you list above

I have had no problem as long as you torque to the specified setting from the manufacturer.
