Anyone know what the line thickness of the Gen 2 mil dot is on the 4-28 m7xi? I have an opportunity to pick one up for $2500 new. I have the older 16X which is 0.06mil, and hoping its thinner for the higher mag brethren or at least the 7X erector allows it to look thinner. I can't find any information on Steiner's website.

It is a highly respected scope. Very popular in Europe. I cannot answer your exact question, but the reticle seems thinner that in the 3-15x.
