Not a big pistol guy but want a midsize 1911.... i like this one and would want it in a 40. good and bad what do you think about these..

I owned an STI trojan, and have shot quite a few of the other models, all I can say is I wish I still had it
you can't go wrong with any STI they are absolutely awsome for the money, IMHO they can't be beat in their price range...

Factory length 40 S&W sometimes don't feed 100% in 1911's. Factory is 1.125, my reloads are 1.195, that extra .070 makes a big difference in the feeding. That being said I've got a 1911 in 40 and trust it. May have to tweek the mags, it may run fine with no issues at all.
