I bought a 338 tac from another member that supposedly had a flat scope base. When I got it built I ordered a 20 moa base from Stiller. Receipt says number 12 base 20 MOA. Problem is neither looks like my other canted bases. The one with the action measures .300 in front and .335 in the back .035 diff. The new one measures .285 front and .310 back .025 difference. The old one appears to have more cant than the new one? Is either one of these a 20 moa base? Are they marked in any way? The new base has a 12 in the back and one dot in the front. The old base just has one dot in the front no number. I don't want to loc tight a base down and then have to take it off. Sorry for the stupid question. AHA

use the base with the 12 on it. it is the newest design. The older ones didnt have the number on it. the dot goes forward. The software was updated and has the moa calculations built into the cnc code and is a little different then the old ones. either will work, but the newer one has the truest moa built in
