I have heard about this. Some people saying that their actions haven't smoothed out after even 2000 rounds, thats crazy
I had a Tac300 in 300wm and had no real issues running it. Was it defiance smooth? Nope but again I can’t complain with it’s performance while I had it.
You came to the forum to ask for opinions on 2 specific actions.
Respectfully, the fact that you have not been inundated with opinions should relay to you the general lack of enthusiasm for either of your choices.
If you are looking for a thumbs up for either, any responses you do get are going to be a very small sample of this forum's user base with the vast majority running other brands.

Stiller, the ones I've ran felt fine. I owned a curtis axiom for a couple months, it was a piece of shit
The curtis only had 2 out of 3 lugs making contact, and just had sharp edges everywhere on and in it. The other thing, which might be important on your 300wm, that action only has .450" of thread tenon on barrel. Not very much, id prefer more than that for a 308 bolt face cartridge. On a magnum like you're planning, that seems like a bad idea.
