I bought a Bergara B14 ridge in .300 win mag for elk hunting. I love the rifle but not a big fan of the stock. I can’t seem to justify dropping $700 on a McMillan or $800 on a Proof Research since it’s only getting limited use. I could get a Stockys Stock composite sporter for a little over $200. The Grayboe Outlander and Bell & Carlson sporter style can be had for around $300 and the H S Precision is around $400. What would be the best and most economical option? I’ve only ever handled the B&C and they fit me well, how do the others compare?
