I am waiting to pick up a CZ 427 Varmint to use as a trainer, and was if anybody made a synthetic tactical style stock?

I know McMilan and Manners do them, but what about the likes of Bell and Carlson or similar?

Boyds was another idea, but I'd prefer a synthetic stock not wood...

Pete,

I think you about covered it. In few weeks (time permitting) I'll do a short write up on installing a 452 into Bell&Carlson light tactical sa stock (can use any rem 700 sa stock). I'm just waiting on a cnc machined bottom metal, which should be available soon (been waiting few months).

Here's a pix of one I've already done.

I've also had the bolt replaced with a badger one (will post in the write up).

Lou,

I very much look forward to reading that..Is there a reason to replace the CZ bottom metal??? (ie to fit the B&C stock??) or it more for "cosmetic" reasons???

Regards,

Peter

No, just lot better looking than the stamp steel that cz calls trigger guard.
