Straight forward question, really. Chassis are off the table owing to weight (2 lbs is the goal). I've done some digging and have found a few options...but, I've undoubtedly missed a few. If y'all are game, wouldn't mind some fresh eyes on the problem.

Looking for:
12.5 LOP (12.75 acceptable, I reckon...)
2 lbs target weight
Straight comb
Compatible with DBM

Both Manners and McMillian will cut a stock to your length. I understand as I have the same issue and wonder who these gargantuan 13.5” LOP stock lengths are made for.

I know you mentioned no chassis, but the XLR Carbon with their carbon grip and 12.5” carbon buttstock will get you at about 36oz. Their Element 3.0 Magnesium will be around 25oz with the same hardware.

The KRG Bravo goes down to 12.8” but its a tad heavy for your situation at 2.9 pounds.

PVA has their “All-Composites” stock at 16oz at a 13.5” fixed LOP. I’m sure you could ask for a shorter pull length.

Can’t think of any others at the moment that would fit your criteria. Hope this helps.

IKR? I had missed PVA, so thanks for that. I think I saw one post earlier on the XLR, but that's a new option for me as well.

Note that a chassis won’t need additional weight from bottom metal, while stock weight usually doesn’t usually include that. It’s only a couple ounces, but it counts.

If you happen to be shooting something that fits in a polymer magazine, that’ll be slightly lighter than bottom metal plus internal box magazine. If you need to use a metal magazine the weight goes the other way by a bit.

Also worth pointing out about the Element V3 Magnesium/Carbon is that the cheek is adjustable. The only option that’s lighter that includes an adjustable cheek is the All-Composites A5 Adjustable, which costs more than twice as much at the lowest cost online option of PVA.

It's a great point on the chassis. Sort of nibbling around the edges of the integral action/chassis idea that we're seeing now as well. I see the advantage to being able to change the flavor of your rig versus the sort of "set it and forget it" entailed by fitting a stock properly.

FWIW - I thought long about building a new rifle and setting myself up for success with a stock. Ultimately, I decided to "do up" a rifle I already own. I really love my Model 70 and I love it's Maple stock...so, I don't think I sell off the stock (but might consider having it professionally shortened if this pans out). The option to stick with Winchester pretty significantly limited my options WRT published inletting from several of the good options here.

I made a call to McMillan, didn't ask for the price until I'd provided my numbers, did my best not to weep when I heard it, gave thanks for the .mil discount and now the waiting begins. They indicated they ought to run the card in 3 weeks or so. Ultimately, I spec'd a Carbon/Edge Game Scout with a couple of left side mounted flush cups and decided to grab a 2" rail section up front just in case.

I think I'll bed the action...seems like a few ounces well spent. I suppose I should at least shoot it "raw" first. I'll be interested to see where the weight finishes. Original weight is just about 10 lbs on the nose, ready to hunt.

I appreciate the feedback and really, really want to take advantage of the info with a new rifle...just gotta get my wife shooting or my Dad into bolt guns...
