Stock Question will this work

I am looking for a mcmillan a5 or manners stock that I can put my cz 550 action that has been rechambered in 6.5x47, There are no stocks for my action so I figured I will make one. I work with fiberglass everyday so I think I can handle it. I will be refinishing the stock so I can add material and remove what I need to make it work.

Does anyone know where I could find a mcm or manners that is a blank or has some issues that would cost a little less and eliminate waiting for ever.

I had thought about calling GA presision they are right there in K.C. I figured they might have some manners in stock and maybe they have screwed one up they arent gonna use.

Any Ideas.

I'm fairly certain you can order a stock blank from McMillan if you're prepared to wait for it..

I recall seeing a guy on here that uses CNC and computer models of the action, so he could perfectly mate your receiver and barrel to the stock...

McMillan has a CZ 550 stock pattern, and will inlet for your rifle.

If you are looking for a more tactical type stock, you could buy a flat top stock and have it milled for your action.

CZ 550,
We have a version of the A5 here that we inlet for the standard CZ 550, just not for the big 550 Magnum. We have inletted several for the CZ550 varmint and they work well.
We have both the solid butt and the two-piece butt for the intergral cheekpieces.
