Strange primer indent

Anyone seen this kind of thing before? It's a fired case.

I got nothing,

I was going to guess high pressure untill I looked at the edges of the primer and the case head. I dont think that is the cause

Maybe a pronlem with the cup or a light strike ?

I've pierced many primers with that pin, but all the other cases, before and after, came out looking normal.
 
It looks like the primer tried to flow back into the firing pin hole.

Primer pockets uniformed? Checked for minimum load? Does it do the same thing with a different/stronger primer? Might be delayed ignition. Seen similar with primer pockets uniformed too deeply.

Yep. Seen that when the hole for the firing pin is too big. Not too uncommon on older guns.
