I have not had the time to to properly confirm my dope for my new POF. I decided to do a late afternoon hog hunt in an 83 acre soybean field. Obviously I needed to gather some dope for the potential long shots that may present themselves. I hurried over to a a field where me and my buddies shoot steel.
I pulled out my phone and opened the strelok app. I matched the current weather conditions and made an educated guess on my muzzle velocity. It gave me a solution for a 500 yd target. I held over using the vortex HS LR reticle. Boom..hit on the 8 inch circular plate. 600 boom... hit! I'm ready to hunt. I have only shoot this gun five times prior to today. I'm happy with shot six and seven.
