Rifle Scopes Strike Eagle 1-6 or 1-8?

Hey all,

Palmetto State Armory is having a sale on the new Gen2 Strike Eagles with a mount. The 1-6x ends up being $300 while the 1-8x with mount is $350.

Is there any reason to go with the 1-6 over the 1-8?

I use 1-6 in 3 gun. Very rarely do I really want 1-8. But if i had to go further than 400 maybe I would.
