30K rounds or so and I finally stuck one.

I was only using it as a body die after the Dillon Rapid trim so it has no sizing rod installed.

Put it on a socket after letting some Kroil settle in it than lightly tapped it with a punch trying to get it out.

Could buy the Redding stuck case removal kit and hope the brass once threaded will be strong enough to pull out but if the punch didn't work......

Thinking sending it to Redding is my smart choice.

If tapping with a 1/4" rod, not a narrow punch, doesn't dislodge it the brass has likely smeared into the surface of the die. No liquid will unsmear.

Freon into the brass until it bubbles then tap then mail it off.
The thin brass walls of the brass will chill and shrink faster than the heavier die.

This^^^^^^^^ I have also used a self tapping screw, and socket, to make a quick puller. You will get much more power pulling out, one of these two ways, than trying to bang it out with a punch. I tried that on my first one, it didn't do nada. Pull it out, clean the die, carry on.

I have a tap kit and all that stuff in the garage.

Seldom have I ever used that big Craftsman tap kit so of course I never even thought of it.

    1/4-20 tap it will be.

    Thank you.

Probably wont be able to get to it for a few days but will update......

It just so happens that I also experienced my first stuck case. I was adjusting my sizing die to make a new modified case for my 243 and got lazy about lubing the case after each adjustment.

Gave me a chance to use the RCBS stuck case kit that I have had for decades. Don't be surprised at how much force it takes to pull the case out!

Drill, tap, and socket. Worked well for me.
