terrebonne, or
hey guys, i currently am shooting a bone stock howa 1500 in 308. It does awesome for what i use it for, mainly coyotes but will use for deer this year too. I am looking at picking up a lawton 7000 chambered in 308 with lawton barrel etc.. i will probably put it in either a b&c or hs precision alum bedded stock. Question being before i pick it up is it really that noticeable of a difference in rifles standard providing i can shoot straight. Will the lawton out perform a standard howa? i have never owned a high dollar piece besides pistols. all my rifles have been howas and a few winchesters so im very naive to the high dollar setups

Re: stupid lawton action question

To say the Lawton action alone will out perform anything else can't be said. There are too many other variables involved. Barrel quality, chamber quality, machine and assemble quality, and so on.
