Gunsmithing Stupid Proof question

I just bought a Proof tl3 prefit and I dont wanna screw it up in my viper vise..

Normally i leave the scope on and clamp the barrels 6-7" forward of the shoulder. Is this a no-no on proof cf barrel?

No problem, I've found searching outside of the forum with just a general Google search is usually far more productive.
