Hey guys, just putting together some Subsonic 308 with 180grn projectiles. Using Trailboss Powder

The questions are:

1. I have in the past drilled out the flash holes to 9/64", is this necessary?
2. I've used Fed210 primers in the past, would I be better off with Mag primers? I didn't have an issue with the standards and the 9/64" flash holes.

Thanks guys.

I've made some .308 Win subs in the past for a buddy who was a cop, and used Fed 210's with Nosler 175 Custom Comps and Trailboss. No need to use mag primers, or drill-out flash holes unless you get ignition issues and hangfires. If all works well without drilling and mag primers, then leave well-enough alone. 👍🏼

I'll definitely be making more for myself in the future, for my own .308 Wins, now that I have suppressors in NFA jail, that should be here in a few months.
