I'm familiar with Leupold's TMR reticle in a SFP Mark 4 and am wanting to know how the thickness/subtension of the reticle is compared to the Nightforce MOAR and MOAR-T in a SFP optic. Kinda on the fence between the two and this will be my first NF scope. Just want to make the right choice and need all the help I can get!

EDIT: UNITS

They're different subtensions on different models:

Your reference TMR SFP should be 0.05 MRAD on max.

MOAR-T on the NXS model is 0.0625 MOA @ max.
MOAR-T on the ATACR SFP is 0.05 MOA @ 25x.
MOAR on the ATACR SFP is 0.1 MOA @ max.
MOAR on the NXS and SHV is 0.125 MOA @ max

You can find the info on their website here:

Unless you're shooting benchrest or beyond 1,300yd where you might run out of reticle to hold, I'd also lean towards FFP. Are you worried it's going to be too fine or too thick?

All of these are max mag in MRAD.

Yeah, I’m leaning towards the thinner MOAR-T, but wanted to have a way to compare it to the TMR for thickness. Seems as if everyone’s experience and opinion is different with the MOAR vs MOAR-T. ATACR 5-25 is what I’m looking at.

Stopped at a Cabelas over the weekend and got my hands on a NF ATACR with the MOAR reticle. Definitely thicker than what I thought it would be and am now leaning towards the MOAR-T. Still hoping for someone with hands on experience!

Before I bought my first NF, I shot a 1000 yard benchrest match with a MOAR. I didn't feel held back by it.

Even saying that, when I bought one, I bought the MOAR-T. I'm not worried about it being so thin that I'll lose it in vegetation or low light.

Thanks for that!!
