A short film showing most aspects of what you can expect from a classic Highland deerstalk.

Showing what target practice gives you (the shooting is realtime) and how the margins between success and failure can be as small as "mental presence".

The most common problem I see with inexperieced hunters is that they wildly overdress and run themselves to the ground due dehydration/ sweating.

Is this public land? And what bullet are you using?

No this is private land, like most here I'm afraid.
I'm currently using the 105gr Amax but will change to Sierra 100gr Gamechanger if I can source it locally...

Nice. I've thought about giving the 108 ELD-M a try in 6BR since so many people had great results hunting with the Amax. Recently got some Hornady 87 BTHP too which seem to have decent reviews from those using them for medium game.

Friends of mine has used that bullet in 243 and 6mm-223 with good results, mostly roe deer (smallish deer)
