Can't aford a good chassis for my rifle so I'm in the process of rebuilding my HS Precision M24 style stock. It holds a stainless trued Rem. action on an HS Precision stainless, fluted barrel which will have a muzzle brake installed in the near future.
As for the stock I'm painting it dark earth with a two-part epoxy paint and adding a Karsten adjustable Kadex cheek rest and an adjustable butt plate.
It looks like my best options for butt plates are the ones from Graco and SPS (Stock Positioning Systems). I would add a Kick Ease butt pad on either plate.
Anyone have another source?
