Suggestions on 300rum sendero for Hunting

Anyone have experience with the 300rum Sendero for hunting situations?


I am seriously considering departing from my 7mmRUM and crossing over to the .300RUM, primarily for extended barrell life more than anything, but have little knowledge as to where to start on handloads for this one.

I handload for my .300wm GAP so it is presumable the 190 gr and RL 22 are a good start.

Suggestions are appreciated though, thanks.

I would use H-1000. A few of my friends do and it works.

Any feedback on why? What about projectiles?
