You guys may laugh at me but I have recently bought my first rifle with a McMillan stock (GAP Crusader)....I guess I'm an old dude and a bit out of touch. Can you suggest what I need to buy for mounting a strap and what strap. Flush cups are new to me, I've only ever had swivels....

Thanks for answering what is probably a super simple question. I have googled some and see options but have no idea what is considered a premium setup.

I have the Armageddon Gear precision rifle sling. It works well. I was a little leary of the bungee and worried about it bouncing during hikes, but the bungee is really strong and doesnt bother at all.

The SAP sling, Rifles Only and TAB gear slings are well liked as well.

Side mounted flush cups are the way to go . Youll love the setup.

? the term "strap' brought back memories. I called it that once in boot camp. Just once though!

My drill instructor brought me a purse and insisted i carry it. By the strap, for a few days.

Grovtec swivels on a RiflesOnly FTW, or TAB Gear sling. Adjustable, rugged, colors available. And as mentioned already, you will enjoy side swivels, nothing poking and jabbing while the weapon lays at rest. I have found I really appreciate them.
