The paintball guns work off of air and not as accurate as a real gun, so the special paint ball scopes compensate for this, and if the paint ball doesn't fly perfectly straight, the paintball scopes can even help "track" the ball and keep it on target.

+1. If you are referring to these scopes. Then it is a totally different manufacturer and not the SWFA SS scopes talked about here.

If I was Chris and them, I'd get on the phone with the lawyers about that.

Imagine if someone heard all the great things about the SWFA scopes and bought one of these instead thinking it was the same as the SWFA scopes they had heard about. Then he/she thinks "this is total shit, fuck super snipers" and goes on to tell all of their friends about how bad those Super Sniper scopes are, and SWFA loses who knows how much potential business as a result.

Wow. I wont lie, still confuses me. So what brand am I really looking for to put on my .308? Or whatever name the super sniper 'rifle' scopes are being sold as.

Re: Super Sniper newbie question

I believe if you go to SWFA's website, you will find their SS line of scopes. That line is exclusive to them and if you are beginning you should be well pleased with that line for the money.

I think SWFA is actually trying to get away from the "Super Sniper" moniker. Hence them being referred to as the "SWFA SS". "Super Sniper" is a pretty cheesy name and reeks of mall-ninjaness, so I doubt a lawsuit would be beneficial to them in any way.

I have been shooting for some time, and I can't seem to ever let go of all of them. I had the 5-20HD and had to part with it. I immediately mounted the 16XSS right back on the 10PC. The SS Line of scopes is really for anyone that wants a super tough and reliable scope that they won't regret spending the money on afterwards...
