I picked one of these things up to haul all my crap to properties and ranges to be able to shoot and spend the day out on the range in moderate comfort.

Ive already assembled and mounted some stuff inside...
Door racks
Foldable table for rifle cleaning and misc.
Wall hangers for packs
Stand alone 10x10 awning
A few fold-up chairs.
I need to get a cooler and trash can in there, along with a fire extiguisher. Maybe a 12 volt fan or 2, radio?

Im on the fence about taking any reloading gear to the range. I will eventualy put reloading stuff in there (mounted where the truck tailgate is) if I ever have a "Man, I wish I could make some more ammo" moments AT the range/property.

Anything you would put in there that Im not thinking of, minus all the gun stuff (rifle case, shooting mat, chronograph, cleaning gear)? Ive got about a $120 to invest in creature comforts, but anything that goes in has to be able to be strapped to a wall or floor durring transit.

Re: Super Snipery Trailer

if your shooting from INSIDE IT, another set of hearing protection and some saran wrap on the surfaces where the muzzle blast will be. clean up burnt powder residue with the by peeling off the saran wrap.

first aid kit.

spare tire and jack

definately a (few) 12 volt power source jacks, maybe even a 120 v converter.

heat reflective paint on the roof, maybe insulation and heater if you plan to go to some colder areas.

a fold up cot for nappy time / trips to further ranges (cheaper than hotel rooms).

a better locking mechanism to keep all that stuff secure.

work bench mounted to the wall, a rack for gun cases, rack for target frames, and paper targets, tool box, generator, cabinet for spray glue, paint for steel targets, first aid kit, a place to strap down your grill and cooler, folding chairs, folding shooting bench, the list is endless depending on what you want to do.
If it will be a multi use trailer everything would need to be modular, but if its purpose is the range that is a great project for a mobile shooting center.

We use a similar trailer for our range evolutions where I work, I can post you a pic later in the week if you like. We have it outfitted to travel with 6-8 pelican cased rifles in a wall rack and storage for everything we need down to the staples.

Re: Super Snipery Trailer

gun ports for inclement weather.

Seriously though, good start. I too suggest an inverter, just to have power on hand. As you make some trips to the range, you'll figure out what is needed.

Just be sure to lock/secure both the items AND the trailer itself. You don't want to lose everything all at once, and you also don't want to make it look 'enticing' to the drivel of society.

which brings us back to the gun ports.....

Deffinately NOT shooting from inside the unit, my ears would be ringing for a week! My truck has a 750 watt inverter in it and my pack has an aid kit in it.

As faw as paint/lock modifications, I would like to not do any heavy modifications to the trailer itself. I just went out and took a temp reading inside and outside the trailer (1700), it was about 2 degree's hotter in the trailer. I can live with that.

I will probably mostly be doing steel targets, but I didnt have a place to secure my T-Posts or steel targets (still trying to figure out what to do with the actual targets).
I wonder if standard run-of-the-mill cup holders would work for holding white spray paint?

I did some more loading and moving tie-down points today, with a lovely hang over. Those 2 12 volt fans dont do a damn thing... 2 mph of breeze from each one of them. I will probably just do a 120 volt box fan.
