I’d been wanting to install a SA rifle length piston kit on my 556 SPRish. So I ordered one up and got it done. Everything went as per instructions. I acquired the settings for restrictive/bleed off and tuned them both for the brass to land at 3:00-3:30. Very pleased with the results and I’ve noticed no degradation in accuracy. She’s pretty much doing as with direct impingement holding 3/4 moa (consistent on the 200 yd steel target photo, 2 together and 1 away, the story of my shooting life 🤣) and anxious to tune it to the DA Sandman suppressor I just received the call is approved and ready to pick up. 👍

Have you compared the fouling associated with an adjustable DI system to the Superlative Arms piston system? I begin having issues with the bolt closing after only 2 mags on my DI systems. Each of those systems is tuned to hold the bolt back on the last round plus one additional click. They are remarkably smooth with BB gun-like recoil. My "go-to" system built around a fixed gas block, Vltor A5 with A5H3 buffer, sprinco green, midlength gas, and Radian SD has pretty substantial recoil when suppressed.

Here's a 224V. DI on the left, Sup. Arms kit on the right. This should explain everything.
